As with everything in life, changes are always all around us each and every day, and the same is with the Les Amis Team
I, Deb, am ending my 20-year photography career. In January 2010, I tested positive for Rheumatoid Arthritis, and have had a daily struggle with this disease. It is now time to stop and “smell the roses” and spend time with my children and grandchildren. This June, Michael and I will celebrate our “30th” wedding anniversary, and it is time to spend time with him. I have enjoyed each and every day of the partnership with Amy, and have been thrilled with my success as a photographer. Thank you to all who have made it possible.
Amy and her family will be relocating north to Minnesota, to start a new chapter in her life near her mother, father, and immediate family, cousins and lifelong friends that still reside in Minnesota. In 2013, after securing her family with a home and new schools for the children, Amy will photograph select sessions under the name of Les Amis in Minnesota.
The Louisiana company will close as of December 31,2012. Amy will have her same telephone number and will keep everyone updated by the website and Facebook page. Our name, logo and branding is unique and is important to us, and she doesn’t want to lose any of the hard work, time and money with its success. Les Amis will always have a place in our hearts and souls.
Our last official photography session is May 25, 2012. We have products to finish for our existing clients, and fully intend to complete them as soon as possible. Amy will keep the website and client gallery. We will continue once settled, to inform all clients as products are completed and approved by email and Facebook. To any of our brides, if your parents are interested in an album, it is still possible to receive one, just get in touch and get information to us before December 2012.
We would love to say a huge “Thank you to all our clients, and clients who have become our ” dear friends”. We cherish each and every one of you, thank you for all your loyalty and kindness that you have shown Amy and myself.
It has been a very rewarding and wonderful friendship and partnership between Amy and myself and the friendship will continue although we are miles apart. A true friendship is a bond that is never broken.
Thank you,
Deb and Amy Lynn
